DAY OUT WITH THE KIDS

Selwo Aventura Wildlife Park

biggest wildlife area on the Costa del Sol, specifically in Estepona, with a wide variety of wild animals – from hippopotamus to lions to tigers or elephants, as well as exotic birds -and watch them in their habitat as they roam free within their designated spaces. At least half a day is needed to enjoy the park.

Selwo Marina

in Benalmadena and adhacent to the famous Paloma Park (both ideal for an outing with the kids), next to the great park of La Paloma, which is also ideal for an outing with the family – the only dolphinarium in Andalucia, but you can also see other animals such as penguins or sea lions. Stroll after through the Paloma park and enjoy the quietness within the bustle of the city.

Aqualand Torremolinos / Aquapark Mijas

looking for a fun day out with the kids in a water park, the Costa del Sol has 2 different parks to enjoy, both located near to eachother and with a wide variety of slides and pools to get away from the scorching sun.

RELAXATION DAY

Boat ride – leaving from the different marinas along the coast (Fuengirola, Estepona, Marbella and Puerto Banus) – why not enjoy a day out in the sea, either just relax and sun bathe with the sound of the waves or view dolphins.

Spa day – many of the luxury hotels along the Costa del Sol offer spas and allow for daily passes to be bought.

Just an hours drive from Marbella, this city in the mountains is spectacular and offers a lot of history and stunning sights. Definitely a place to be seen and would need a full day to visit.

Mijas

Traditional white-washed village in the hills, great to enjoy a day walking around the many cobbled streets, enjoy the astounding views of the coast from above, visit the famous donkey taxis, and see the only square bull-ring in Spain.

Genalguacil

Moorish past, whitewashed houses and flower beds, active enjoyment of nature through beautiful trekking trails, and the newest contemporary art.
